Our Story
For founder, Eric George, the agronomic improvement of foods has long been a personal and practical pursuit. For 20+ years he endured a medical journey with colitis that led him toward the physiology of food and agriculture and the origins of health. Through studying natural principles, adopting a change of mindset, and sourcing top quality foods, he eventually charted his own path to health and balance.
As of 2025 he has gained food and agricultural experience covering almost the entire organic supply chain, with 9 years farm management experience and 8 years leading wholesale food sales and business finance. Eric tries hard to listen and understand his customers, and he has recorded $3.5 million cumulative wholesale sales in organic staple food crops, fresh vegetables, and seed crops. Eric has worked closely with organic plant breeders and seed producers since 2013, and since 2009 has maintained an intense interest in plant nutrition and agronomy. He has passed the examinations for the American Society of Agronomy's Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) program for the US Western Region (2019) and the Northwest (2025). As a crop advisor, he has provided several hundred organic fertility recommendations, gained the ability to visually assess nutrient deficiencies in many crops, and discovered a passion for helping growers learn as much as possible from every year’s crop.
Eric’s work with Abundant Health Farming strives to address the root causes of problems, and inspire a more effective food and health system. He believes that a healthy agriculture can provide truly abundant solutions, and he is dedicated to developing our food system’s positive potential.
